The Çaystube returns in 2025 – as a performative installation exploring the intersection of sport and pop culture. Under the title »Spill the Tea«, the courtyard of the Kulturbrauerei becomes an interactive space for movement, encounter, and participation. The project reimagines the Çaystube as a site where workout culture, dance, music, and queer, post-migrant perspectives come together. It’s about embodied practice, collective experience, and the question: How can movement strengthen cultural identity and build community? And »Çay«? Çay reminds us of shared tea-drinking – a moment for pause and dialogue. The Çaystube becomes a space where body, culture, and community connect – where pop, sport, and social practice find a shared language.
