Awareness & Accessibility
Pop-Kultur is a space for diversity!
We promote and hope that many different cultural identities meet at Pop-Kultur and that no one is excluded from our offerings.
By employing a diverse service team of experts in their respective fields and an accessible infrastructure, we strive to create a receptive and safe environment for all visitors.
Our service-team will be available for visitors with disabilities before and during the festival to answer any questions.
Via e-mail inklusion@pop-kultur.berlin or by telephone and WhatsApp: +49 157 38 79 5555.
On this page you will find i.a. an overview of our Pop-Kultur accessibility services.
We look forward to your visit and are always open to suggestions!
A trained awareness team will be on duty at the festival to ensure that all visitors feel comfortable. The awareness team can be found at the meeting point or elsewhere on the festival ground.
In case of an emergency or if you need support in case of a conflict, you can also contact any festival staff members so that they can immediately call the awareness team.
Pop-Kultur is an international festival.
International means:
There are artists from many different countries.
In 2024, the Pop-Kultur festival is happening for the 10th time.
It takes place at the Kultur-Brauerei in Berlin.
The company Musicboard Berlin makes the festival.
This year, it takes place from the 28th to the 30th of August.
Pop-Kultur is a space for everyone!
We hope that different kinds of people meet at Pop-Kultur.
Nobody should be left out.
Everyone should feel comfortable at Pop-Kultur.
There should be as few obstacles as possible.
We want to be accessible.
For example:
- It’s easy to reach the site in a wheelchair.
- Interviews are translated into sign language.
- People with get support.
- There is information in simple language.
There is an inclusive service team.
You can ask questions.
You can send your questions to this e-mail address:
inklusion@pop-kultur.berlin.

If they wish, visitors with disabilities may bring a carer free of charge. For this, the ‘Barrierefrei’ ticket must be selected in the ticket shop. If you do not have a disabled person’s pass despite your disability, you can contact us in advance so that we can issue a confirmation for your companion.
Holders of the “Sozialticket” (formerly Berlin Pass) receive a 50% discount. They may also bring a carer free of charge as stated above.
Tickets and further information can be found on our ticketing page („Ticket Barrierefrei“): https://tickets.pop-kultur.berlin/
Access to the Kulturbrauerei is barrier-free via the BVG public transport:
- The underground stop “U Eberswalder Str./Pappelallee” has a lift
- All tram lines to the “Tram Eberswalder Str.” stop are barrier-free
Guests with mobility and visual impairments may use the companion service of the VBB:

The nearest accessible parking spaces are located in the parking zone at the Sredzkistraße entrance. There is a parking garage with an elevator on the Kulturbrauerei premises, but we do not recommend it for wheelchair users, as it is not fully accessible. If you need an accessible parking space, you can contact our awareness team at: +49 157 38 79 5555.
All our venues are easily accessible for wheelchair users.
In addition, a barrier-free floor system has been installed to allow for better mobility on the cobblestone.
For mobility assistance, please contact our service team for visitors with disabilities.
On the festival grounds are 7 barrier-free lavatories:
