Young Parisian artist Jenys’ Instagram channel is »jenyshasfun«, and with her catchy pop sounds and excursions into the realms of glitchcore, she proves that hyperpop is still alive and kicking despite all the prophecies of doom. In 2021, the Russian-born musician released her debut EP »S.ncerity«, including the fantastic ballad »Being Here« and the powerful hit »Hometown«, dealing with contradictory feelings towards a place that is anything but good for you, but from which you cannot detach yourself, as it is part of your identity. In recent years, Jenys has gained a lot of live experience supporting acts such as Hyd, something that has had an audible impact on her new songs, which bring the rave back to the dancefloor along with plenty of bass and trance excursions.
