The members of the Hamburg hip-hop collective bangerfabrique, who besides their scene-setting rap cuts happen to deliver euphoric DJ sets, are definitely not afraid to let their self-confidence hang out. And that’s a good thing! The driving force behind bangerfabrique is the tight friendship between Emmamaelo, Nebou, Melle, Celia, Schwesta Sehra and Roof. Sometimes all of them are involved, sometimes just a few, but one thing is for sure: »Keine Männer im Video, kein Männer am Mic« (»No men in the video, no men on the mic«). The rappers complement each other wonderfully, finishing each other’s sentences and, most importantly, don’t take themselves too seriously: »Ist das ein Top oder schon meine Titte?« (»Is that a top or is that my tit?«).
