The general conditions for planning Pop-Kultur 2021 are constantly changing due to the ongoing Corona pandemic. To counter this situation, we are planning the festival with comprehensive protective measures and in different variants. The health of the audience, the artists and all participants always comes first. Therefore, a comprehensive hygiene and infection control concept has been developed in close consultation with the responsible authorities.
The measures that apply to the festival are presented below. These measures will be regularly adapted to the respective situation. Therefore, please inform yourself at this point about the currently valid regulations before your visit to Pop-Kultur 2021.

This year, only day tickets are available – no festival passes. Because of reduced capacity due to the pandemic, admission will be first come, first served. One ticket entitles the holder to enter the festival grounds and – according to their respective capacities – to enter the individual venues. The ticket does not entitle the holder to attend individual events or venues if they are already at capacity.

In order to ensure that chains of infection can be traced, all tickets are personalised at the time of purchase. Please note that tickets are non-transferable and must be presented both at the entrance to the festival site and at the entrance to the individual venues.

In the event that the festival has to be cancelled due to Corona, the ticket price will be refunded in accordance with the terms and conditions of the ticket provider Reservix.

The general hygiene rules apply on the festival site and at all Pop-Kultur venues:
Admission to all venues of the festival is only permitted with a medical mask or FFP2 mask. The mask requirement also applies at the seat (s. II.2). Please ensure that the mask is always worn over the mouth and nose.
The legal minimum distance of 1.5 metres must be maintained on all paths. This minimum distance may only be undercut by persons living in the same household.
Please ensure regular hand hygiene. Sufficient disinfection dispensers and sanitary facilities are available for this purpose. Please also observe the cough and sneeze etiquette.
If you notice any Corona symptoms or have contracted COVID-19, please stay at home.
Furthermore, the festival reserves the right to take further hygiene rules and to demand them if necessary

According to current regulations, all events, both indoors and outdoors, will be seated. The festival reserves the right to make changes should this be possible during the festival period.

If you notice symptoms of an infection yourself or if you are a close contact person of a confirmed case of infection, please contact your doctor or the nationwide hotline (Tel. +49 116 117) immediately and go into quarantine.

You can find the latest information about infections in Berlin on the official website of the state of Berlin.
