The Morning Stars

Some music group is up-and-coming – it’s easy to come to that conclusion, but in the case of The Morning Stars, it’s something you can take literally for once. Its members Felix Müller-Wrobel (Kante, Sport), Alex Paulick (Kreidler), Sebastian Vogel (Kante, Britta), and Barbara Morgenstern have all known each other since the nineties, but they’ve only recently convened in Berlin, and the band is just starting to emerge, having played their first show together last year. With English lyrics and multiple vocalists, they sing indie tunes that connect the dots between hypnotising kraut, orchestral post-rock, and sunny West Coast Americana. Their first album can’t be far off, in the meantime you can get a preview of their smooth sound in a live setting.
