»Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs« happening 28th-30th August 2024 at the Kulturbrauerei Berlin – Apply now!

Have you always wanted to gain some first-hand insight into the music business? Wondering what it’s like to work as a producer? Or how to manage your band in the ever-changing industry? At »Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs« you can get to the bottom of your questions! Submit your application by 14th May 2024 for your chance to be one of 150 participants in the workshop programme of the Berlin’s Pop-Kultur festival!

»Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs« is a platform for those who have already taken their first steps, providing them with expertise and guidance on their continued path towards success. From 28th-30th August 2024, Pop-Kultur acts and international experts will give personal perspectives on their work at the Kulturbrauerei Berlin, sharing their expertise on working, living and surviving in the music business through hands-on workshops and talks.

For example, Phillip Staffa, guitarist of Hope, will explain how the band has managed itself over the years, while photographer Yvonne Hartmann will show you how to build up your artist brand, and director Stephanie von Beauvais will be giving tips for your DIY music video projects.

»Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs« offers newcomers in the broad field of pop music – musicians, producers, DJs, managers, bookers, label owners, video directors, PR agents and journalists – the opportunity to learn and network. Participants can choose from over 40 different courses and networking events offered in German + English. The programme is aimed at talents from all over the world. Selected participants will also perform on the »Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs« stage as part of the main festival programme. Participation in »Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs« costs 50 euros. This includes drinks, lunch on the days of the workshops, a goodie bag and access to the entire Pop-Kultur festival, including the exclusvie networking area for professionals.
