Kino Arsenal opened its new location at silent green Kulturquartier in Berlin-Wedding in 2026. For the first time, all areas of the Arsenal Filminstitut are now brought together in one place – including cinema, archive, distribution, campus as well as the Berlinale Forum and Forum Expanded programmes.
Within the listed Westhalle, a cinema equipped with state-of-the-art analogue and digital projection technology and a versatile acoustic setup has been created. As a direct neighbour of Pop-Kultur, the venue will host events as part of »Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs«, »Pop-Kultur Talks« and a »Commissioned Work« for the first time in 2026.
