As one of the most exciting new voices to emerge from Frankfurt’s rap scene, Ramzey has been drawing increasing attention for some time. He picks up key elements of German-language hip-hop, carries them forward with assurance, and filters them through a distinct, contemporary perspective. His punchlines land with precision, yet thematically he moves well beyond familiar genre clichés: on his current album »Jiggos weinen nicht«, the 26-year-old reveals a notably reflective and emotionally open side without sacrificing any of his edge.

Between rough, high-pressure beats and subtly woven R&B textures, a versatile sound emerges that reflects his artistic range. It is a combination that continues to earn him growing acclaim – whether touring alongside OG Keemo or at his own often sold-out headline shows. Above all, though, it is his striking, unmistakable voice that cuts through everything and lingers long after. Frankfurt has not sounded this fresh in a long time.
