The band PVA – comprising Ella Harris, Josh Baxter and Louis Satchell – rank among the most exciting insider tips in the British post-punk scene. Emerging from London’s DIY community and often placed alongside bands such as Shame and Squid, they quickly built a growing following through a clear artistic vision and a pronounced appetite for experimentation – and signed early on with the renowned label Ninja Tune.

Their music moves between dance-punk and pop-leaning darkwave, driven by a collective flow and a raw immediacy: personal experiences feed directly into the songs and fuse with grooves that are physically palpable. On »No More Like This«, the trio sound more fully like themselves than ever. By sharpening the contrasts within their high-pressure electro-punk even further, they open up a charged space between vulnerability and anger – an intensity that also erupts live in deeply affecting performances.
