Marie von der Heydt is a musicologist and cultural scholar and has been Managing Director of Musicboard Berlin since 2024. Following various roles across the cultural sector, she headed funding for Berlin’s independent music scene at the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and worked as a political advisor on cultural and media policy at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.

Jörg Heidemann is Managing Director of VUT e.V., the German Association of Independent Musicians and Music Companies. A trained psychologist with extensive experience across the music industry, he previously worked as Export Manager at Universal Music Germany before taking over the leadership of VUT in 2014.
