Sorry, but what is Layla Boe supposed to do – she was simply born a »baddest bitch«. Layla Boe, also known as LAYLA, never holds back: not on social media, and certainly not in her bars. So is this rap, pop, electronic music, or R&B? Why not all of it at once – that seems to be the guiding principle of the Münster-raised, now Berlin-based artist. With lines centred on self-determination, sex, love, desire, and empowerment, she has carved out her own niche within the German rap landscape, while effortlessly building bridges into pop through features such as Nina Chuba’s »Ragegirl«.

After her Pop-Kultur debut in 2021, she returns in 2026 with new material and new sounds, ready to show what confident female German rap can look like today.
