»HereToHoop Berlin« is a free basketball programme for girls* and FLINTA* people in Berlin. The initiative creates low-threshold access to basketball, coaching, and community, encouraging girls*, young women*, and FLINTA* people to move with confidence both on and off the court.

Led by FLINTA* coaches, the programme welcomes both beginners and players with previous basketball experience. Alongside regular open sessions, HereToHoop organises camps, workshops, community events, and initiatives that support and empower FLINTA* coaches.

A key part of the programme is Girls* Basketball Week, an initiative by HereToHoop in collaboration with the Berlin Basketball Association. Most recently, from 16 to 25 May 2026, more than 24 clubs across Berlin and Brandenburg opened their doors for free taster sessions, making it easier for girls* and young women* to take their first steps into the sport.
