The image shows the artist Dornika in front of a black background. She faces the camera with both arms extended to the sides. She wears long bright red gloves and a black-and-white striped, shimmering outfit with a lace-up top. Her hair is vividly red and curly, and her makeup is striking with emphasized eyes and dark lipstick. Jewelry is visible around her neck.
Dornika

Dornika is an Iranian-American artist based in Berlin and a defining presence within the city’s queer underground scene. She first gained recognition with tracks such as »Miniskirt« – in which she raps about liking boys in miniskirts – and »Nobody«, a bold act of self-positioning as fag, dyke, slut, cunt, and disease. Her music directly addresses questions of gender, race, sexuality, and body politics, functioning as empowering club statements.

Musically, Dornika moves between dark electronic, hyperpop, and booty bass influences, with a clear affinity for punk attitudes within a club context. Her sets and performances combine songwriting, rap, and production with a strong visual dimension. Alongside her work as a musician, she is also an activist, fashion designer, model, and award-winning director.

Since her debut, Dornika has played more than 150 shows across Europe, including appearances at platforms such as Lunchbox Candy, Gegen, and Hoe_mies, as well as headliner slots at Pride events in Berlin, Munich, Copenhagen, Prague, Rotterdam, and Ljubljana.
