The ZDF documentary »Crunchtime – Satou Saballys Weg an die Basketball-Weltspitze« follows the German national player from her beginnings in Berlin-Lichterfelde to the WNBA and the Olympic Games. Directed by Tsellot Melesse, the film is far more than a conventional sports documentary. It tells a story of ambition and setbacks, serious injuries, and long rehabilitation periods, while also asking what responsibilities come with public visibility.
