The three Berlin Outbound Mentoring Sessions at this year’s Pop-Kultur Festival are led by internationally active experts. In small groups of six, Berlin-based musicians and music industry professionals have the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences. After a short introduction by the mentors, the focus shifts to your questions. Whether you are seeking advice on specific projects, strategic decisions, or everyday professional challenges, this format is built around direct exchange and individual feedback.

The »Sync and Licensing« Mentoring Session is led by Andrea Lacroix, Director of Sync & Licensing at !K7 Music. Andrea Lacroix has been one of the leading experts in sync and licensing within the international independent music sector for the past two decades. After working at a booking agency and the Bureau Export de la Musique Française, she joined !K7 Music in 2005, where she now oversees the international exploitation of the label’s catalogue as Director of Sync & Licensing. Together with her team in Berlin, London, and New York, she works across the !K7 group labels – including !K7, Strut, DJ-Kicks, and 7K! – developing strategies to place music in films, television series, advertising, and other media worldwide.
