The three Berlin Outbound Mentoring Sessions at this year’s Pop-Kultur Festival are led by internationally active experts. In small groups of six, Berlin-based musicians and music industry professionals have the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences. After a short introduction by the mentors, the focus shifts to your questions. Whether you are seeking advice on specific projects, strategic decisions, or everyday professional challenges, this format is built around direct exchange and individual feedback.

The »Recorded Music & Management« Mentoring Session is led by Sophia Gruber. Sophia started her professional career in the music industry at the management and label agency IRRSINN, where she worked until 2021. There, she collaborated with bands such as Leoniden, Faber and Von Wegen Lisbeth. From 2021 to 2025, she worked at the Berlin-based label City Slang in PR and product management, where she oversaw releases by artists such as Caribou, Jessica Pratt, José González, Noga Erez, and King Hannah. Most recently she has been working at Live From Earth as an artist manager for acts such as DJ Gigola and Brutalismus 3000.
