In her work, Hungarian-Transylvanian vocalist, composer, performer and multidisciplinary artist Réka Csiszér aka VÍZ likes to play with elements of science fiction and avant-garde. Inspired by Alejandro Jodorowsky’s idea of »psicomagia«, for example, her 2021 debut album »Veils« explored themes such as reality (and its absence), physicality, language, identity, nature and origin. The result was an elegiac, body-horror soundtrack that continues to resonate long after it stops playing. At her show in the Alte Kantine, expect a performance that blurs the boundaries between music, art, dreams and nightmares.
