Symptom Error

Symptom Error is an experimental duo from Yerevan, made up of producer Sona Khachatryan and vocalist Amassia Niziblian. Since 2017, they’ve been weaving together electronic soundscapes, spoken word, and delicate textures into an intense exploration of trauma, memory, and collective spaces of protection.
Their debut »Ex Crisis«, released in 2022 on the label Critique, positions their sound between introspection and resistance – shaped by influences ranging from conservatory training to basement clubs and cultural activism.
Born from friendship, Symptom Error now speak for a queer, post-Soviet generation – and see themselves as a voice of their LGBTQ+ community.
