Pop-Kultur lokal 2022 #3: »Un:seen«

Un:seen is an intersectional party collective that started in Berlin at the end of 2018. Their mission was to create a community-led collective, hoping to give something back to a scene that had given so much to them – but where they thought there was room for improvement in terms of representation and music style, given the saturated nature of club culture at the time. Un:seen puts diversity at the forefront of their values and prioritises booking FLINTA+ producers and DJs. They especially understand the importance of holding space and providing opportunities for the massive amount of underrepresented talent that exists in Berlin to come forward and shine. The sounds are diverse but always danceable, ranging from house, drum and bass, breaks, UK bass, to hard-hitting pop sensations.
For Pop-Kultur lokal Un:seen presents a party in conjunction with a peer-exchange intermediate DJ workshop held before the event which will function as a showcase of the Un:seen community, with the line-up comprised of people from the collective and wider network, along with the participants of the workshop. Not least, the third edition of the Un:seen zine will be released during the event.
