MOLHAM
Jiddah, Washington D.C., Dubai – these cities and their cultural diversity are all an influence on MOLHAM and his music. The singer-songwriter and rapper from Saudi Arabia combines influences from the musical traditions of the Arabian Peninsula with North African pop and rap to create his very own genre: A-pop. It all started for MOLHAM with his first rap crew while he was a student in the USA.
In 2018, after a brief career as a management consultant, he ventured into music, first with the debut EP »The Time is Yesterday«, followed by the ballad »Khaleeki« as well as the summer hit »Mistaneeki (Don’t Go)«, a collaboration with the up-and-coming Saudi producer Malkin. MOLHAM’s lyrics, whether in Arabic or English, deal with questions of meaning, love and life – and his relationship with his homeland.
Welcome to the world of A-pop – welcome to MOLHAM’s world!
