»I’ll Be Fine: Talk über Popkultur, DRUCK und Gen Z«
Love, friendship and identity – these are the life challenges that a clique of teenagers face in the series »DRUCK« (»PRESSURE«). Besides its regular episodes aimed at 14- to 20-year-olds, the web series tells about the group’s everyday life in short videos via social media, dealing with all the important issues of this formative phase of life: first love, friendships with all their ups and downs, the pressure to do well in school, outings, the increasing separation from family, bullying and much more. The series lead actors Eren M. Güvercin and Nhung Hoang as well as scriptwriter Naomi Bechert talk with transdisciplinary artist Aidan Riebensahm about Gen Z under the title »I’ll Be Fine«: What are the issues facing the generation born after the turn of the millennium? What do they want to say? And how is youth culture shaping pop culture and the mainstream today?
