Fuffifufzich stands upright with cowboy boots, short blue-brown trousers, a long-sleeved shirt in the same colours over which she wears a yellow T-shirt, and a black coverlet over her right shoulder in a backdrop in which, among other things, a prop tree trunk lies. The background is a painting showing a landscape with snow-covered mountains, trees, a path and grasses. She is also wearing sunglasses, has her shoulder-length brown hair slicked back and is looking out of the picture to the left.

Fuffifufzich: »Kontrollverlust Romantico«

When Fuffifufzich played Pop-Kultur at the Caystube last year, the Kulturbrauerei courtyard was filled with people cheering her on, happily singing along: »Hallo 110, ist da die Po-Polizei? Ich möchte Anzeige erstatten. Wega Heartbreakerei« (»Hello, 999, is this the po-police? I would like to file a complaint. ‘Cause of Heartbreakery«). Now, the artist returns to further illuminate the multi-layered aspects of love in her Commissioned Work. Sometimes a bit kitschy and wistful, but always with melancholic, atmospheric, dreamy synth sounds, and with heartaching rhymes – but also full of humour to counterbalance the tears of pain. Visually, her piece is accentuated by set designer Mayan Tuulia Frank, and Fuffifufzich is also backed by her band (Jung ChoCho and Laura Landergott) as well as two string players, who create a stunning new framework for the songs on her new record.
