Booty Carrell

Booty Carrell explores the endless expanses of vinyl. The DJ digs into the second stratum of musical globalisation, starting where musicians all over the world have begun to mix regional traditions with Western gestures. »Making Global Sound Local« is the slogan of his DJ crew B-Music, spinning records and soundtracks from Turkey, Iran, Israel, India and Pakistan as well as France and Germany. And it’s highly danceable! Booty Carrell aka Sebastian Reier has also advised music fiends while working at Hamburg record shop Groove City, served as resident at Golden Pudel, hosts the »Groovie Shizzl« show on ByteFM and since 2020 has been taking care of the music at Münchner Kammerspiele.
